Product update, 2026
Published 2026, 4 min read
Remotify has shipped a lot this year across invoicing, payments, payouts, and the overall experience for both freelancers and businesses. Most of these changes have been live for a while, but we haven't pulled them together in one place until now.
The biggest news: we're now matching AI project requests with AI freelancers. If that's relevant to you, read that section first. Everything else follows below.
New: AI Projects
If your business needs AI work done, like development, automation, data pipelines, or content generation, you can now submit a project request and we'll match you with a vetted AI freelancer. Payment and invoicing run through Remotify as usual, so you get a compliant EU invoice and a clean payment record.
We're in early mode and actively collecting requests. If you're a freelancer working in AI, you can apply to be part of the matching pool.
Below is the full list, grouped by area. Some of these are small quality-of-life improvements; others are things you'll want to start using if you haven't already.
AI Projects is a new feature that lets businesses submit AI project requests for development, automation, data work, content, and more. Remotify reviews the request and matches it with a vetted freelancer who works in AI. Invoicing and payment run through Remotify, so you get a tax-compliant EU invoice.
You can submit a request directly from your Remotify account or via the AI Projects page. Once submitted, the Remotify team reviews it and follows up with a freelancer match.
Yes. Payment links let selected clients pay an invoice without signing up to Remotify. This is useful for one-off clients or businesses that prefer not to create an account.
In 2026, Remotify added support for Moroccan Dirham (MAD), Vietnamese Dong (VND), South Korean Won (KRW), Cambodian Riel (KHR), Brazilian Real (BRL), and Peruvian currency. The full list of supported currencies is on the Remotify pricing page.
No. Remotify is not a tax service and does not withhold or file taxes on your behalf. Remotify issues tax-compliant invoices and handles VAT/reverse charge where applicable. Your local tax obligations remain your own responsibility.
All 2026 updates are listed on this page. If you have questions about a specific feature, reach out to the Remotify support team.
We're collecting project requests now. Submit yours and we'll match you with an AI freelancer through Remotify.
