Payment & Payout Methods | Remotify

How money moves between your clients and your freelancers

Every invoice on Remotify has two sides: a client paying in, and a freelancer getting paid out. Here's exactly how that works, country by country.

The path an invoice takes

Whether it's a one-off project or a recurring retainer, every payment on Remotify follows the same three stages.

Stage 1

Client pays the invoice

Clients pay with a credit or debit card, SEPA bank transfer, SWIFT, or PayPal — whichever rails are available in their country.

Stage 2

Remotify routes the funds

Funds are converted and routed behind the scenes, using whichever transfer option is fastest and lowest-cost for that country pair.

Stage 3

Freelancer gets paid out

Freelancers receive funds in their preferred currency by local bank transfer, SWIFT, or PayPal.

What "Active," "Limited," and "Unsupported" mean

Every country on Remotify falls into one of three support tiers.

Active

A confirmed primary and backup payout rail are both in place. Client payments and freelancer payouts run smoothly with no known gaps.

Limited

Payments and payouts work, but with a caveat — like an unconfirmed PayPal payout, or no low-cost local rail for EUR/GBP transfers.

Unsupported

No confirmed payment route exists for this country — this may be due to legal or compliance restrictions, or simply no payout partner in place yet. Please contact Remotify Support before attempting to use this route.
